About Precept Construction

Precept Construction adheres to more than simply building codes; they aspire to raise the level of awareness and responsibility that is collectively shared by the community to be good stewards of natural resources. Additionally, their commitment to craftsmanship and style is proof positive that energy efficiency, fiscal responsibility, and timeless design can and should go hand in hand when building a home. Precept (pronounced pree-sept) is defined as a rule or principal that guides somebody’s actions, especially one that guides moral behavior.

Precept Construction is owned and operated in the Triad by Scott Allred, a native of Greensboro, North Carolina. Scott was the President of the Greensboro Builders Association in 2011 and the Past Chairman of the Triad Green Building Council representing Guilford, Alamance, Forsyth, and Davidson County builders. Scott is currently serving as a National Director for the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) and as a Board Member of the Greensboro Builders Association.
